Easter Sunday for the church is like the day after Thanksgiving for the mall. It’s always our biggest day and our guys did shine yesterday.
We did a huge series of commercials inviting people to our Easter service. Met quite a few people who came because of them.
The energy and expectation level from our church was the best I have felt in a long, long time. Everyone was on their game – our guest service team was amazing. As always, our music team nailed it again. Kids ministry team was phenomenal. So proud of all of them.
We were completely packed with late-comers having to watch the service from the café and the foyer.
31 people responded to accept Christ.
Met tons of new people in the café after service.
We had a great day! Thanks to all who prayed and worked so hard to make it happen. You guys are awesome!

I am so pumped with what I see going on in every aspect of our church. Some of it is like fresh, warm spring breezes after a long cold winter (all the new faces and excitement), other aspects are like lingering embers bursting back in to flame (long time, integrous covenant keepers)as fresh air is being blown on them rejuvenating their spirit. God is moving and whether it is new or renewed I am joining in that move to make Jesus famous in WNC and throughout the world as part of a fantastic team God is building here at The Rock for a new season in God and power in His Holy Spirit. Jesus YOU rule!! We love you! May your name be praised in ALL the earth. (Also a HUGE shout out to our Guest Services Team ~ you all are growing and going ~ Easter was great. Your hearts for people are fabulous and growing weekly)

The sanctuary was packed! Praise God. We had ever chair we could find set out and I believe there were only 36 empty, scattered throughout. So as families came in they were directed to the cafe and foyer. If my math is correct that means there were at least 9 people outside of the sanctuary who received Christ, well that's what I'm believing for. I'm extremely thankful for the cafe, it's a revelation strait from God. Couldn't picture the Rock without it, the relationships that have been started, the memories that have been made and of course the coffee that has been drank! Jehovah-Java! BTW kudos to the maintenance team they definitely had the Rock in Her gown
