We're In on One Prayer

Posted by Posted by Kirk Bowman On 3:36 PM

Just came across this great idea pioneered by Craig Groeschel from Life Church.

It’s called “One Prayer” and the concept is for hundreds of churches to focus together in teaching and mission during the month of June.

I love this idea! Our church is totally in on this. My heart said "YES" as soon as I heard about it. I’m looking forward to linking up with great churches and leaders to unify and make a difference in the world.

What an amazing way to cross pollinate with a lot of great churches.

Check out his video from Craig for a brief intro:

  8. Fantastic! I LOVE it when the Church takes the lead in new, creative ideas. I'm excited to see where this goes! Does this mean you're taking the summer off, PK? haha

No matter how different our styles are, we as the collective CHURCH could benefit from some unity in message. I'm excited about this!

  11. THE BOOKIE Said,

Today’s emotions has got us on edge. Pastor Kirk pined down exactly why Americans are divided so deeply. We are emotionally driven to hate, distrust, and make excuses for our failures. Americans believe politics is going to bale them out of their problems by promising jobs, health insurance, and peace. These feel good speeches provide a false sense of security and Americans are grasping at straw. Name one person that can say, the president straighten out their life. It appears most believe that history began the day they were born. I wished the whole world could have heard today’s sermon. Real peace of mind comes from Jesus. Thanks JERRY SOESBEE
