The Masters – a tradition like no other …..

I went to the practice round yesterday with my brother in law. Thanks to my great friend, Andy Banfield, who always helps me out with tickets. Always a treat to see Augusta National and all the great players of the game. Looking forward to watching every bit of The Masters I can this weekend.

For golfers – Spring begins at The Masters

I know you enjoyed this trip. I grew up in Augusta and have been to many practice rounds. At 17 I worked the 18th scoreboard. Our cleaning company used to go in 2 weeks prior and clean all the glass from the clubhouse to the Eisenhouer and Jones cabins. I actually held Bobby Jones clubs in my hands and hit a few balls on the course, (although this was against the rules). It did not matter, I still stink at the game. Next time down go to Sconyers for the best BBQ I have ever found.
